Diamond Pet Food, is actively searching for an experienced manufacturing industrial sanitation technician for our production and packaging facility in Gaston, SC.
This qualified individual will perform a wide variety of tasks (work) is primarily performed indoors and outdoors near operating equipment and loud noise such as forklift horms and loose particles may be present.
At different times throughout the year, work performed in this job will require employee to work in hot weather, rain, and cold.
Work performed in this job requires employee to wear a bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes and glasses.
The essential duties includes.
Following proper cleaning protocols for areas assigned & machinery sanitizing, being able to move to different parts of the plant to clean and help out when additional help is needed.
Use Chemicals adhering to our SOP's, Perform and comply with all Standard operating procedures (SOP's) Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance to company policies Must be able to lift 75 pounds _Must be able to climb ladders, until confine spaces Must be able to work at heights, and be not afraid Must be able to be certified to operate equipment/forklift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
